Dangerous behavior

Violent attacks aimed at causing serious injury and even death that are being carried out by members of extreme right-wing gangs must be stopped in some way, starting with the Greek state dealing with incidents of this kind in the strictest possible fashion.

Whether targeting immigrants or supporters of rival political parties, groups that use this kind of raw violence also deal a heavy blow to society and democracy in general, creating deep wounds that are hard to heal.

If not cut out at the root, this kind of violent behavior can lead the entire country into a cycle of dangerous, bloody confrontation. It must be contained right here and right now.

This zero-tolerance policy, of course, should apply to all gangs and organized groups that set out to intimidate their foes.

No one has the right to lay a single hand, let alone a fist or a weapon, on another person in the name of some partisan or ideological frenzy.
