The cost of one’s choices

The persistence of certain government officials in their efforts to undermine the choices of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at every opportunity on matters relating to investments and privatizations is indeed quite impressive.

Tsipras himself has been paying a steep price for his choices, while it’s nigh impossible to estimate the cost of the damage to the country as a result of the decisions taken by individuals with genuinely extremist positions who have held key posts at some point in the current SYRIZA-Independent Greeks coalition.

Given the heavy toll of these mistakes, one simply cannot but wonder what the prime minister is waiting for before he takes the decision to do what he should have done a very long time ago. And that is to send home all those individuals who have put both him and the country at risk with their fixations.
