Inexplicable indifference
Greece’s leftist-led government continues to provocatively ignore the burgeoning problem of public safety and security.
The country has experienced a series of incidents in the last few days that highlight how violence and intimidation have been allowed to become a part of day-to-day life.
Exploding grenades, flaming cars, smashed offices, vandalized public buildings, showers of insulting leaflets and incendiary graffiti are not elements that point to a country governed by the rule of law and protected by the state.
And the government’s indifference to these incidents is inexplicable.
