Tomorrow’s challenge is unity

Uniting the Greek people again is one of the toughest challenges the next government will have to face.

The current administration has used division as a means of gaining and hanging onto power.

It has thus helped breed even more extreme forces without considering the cost of this on the country’s institutions and its cohesion. But, as is always the case, now that the government is running out of time, it is getting a taste of its own medicine.

The next prime minister will be called upon to unite the Greeks and also to bring back some civility to politics.
