Pressure and danger
The government has gone through most of its political capital.
The country is deeply divided and the great powers occasionally behave like they used to do when it comes to matters that concern them directly.
As a result, Turkey keeps challenging Greece’s sovereign rights in the Aegean and East Med, and there is a real danger it will intensify pressure to get what it has wanted for decades.
