Europe’s border
Greece’s ability to hold the fort against the influx of refugees and migrants is, to a significant degree, the reason why the north is more or less shielded.
It is time for the European Union to prove that Greece is not a mere bulwark that’s being paid to keep the migrants at bay.
Apart from funding, what Greece needs is power to face the hybrid threat. Evros and Lesvos are European borders.
