GLYFADA PROJECTS: The government’s Coordinating Council held a meeting yesterday, chaired by Prime Minister Field Marshal Alexandros Papagos, to discuss the landscaping of the Saronic coastline, particularly in the regions of Glyfada and Voula. (…) Within the next few days, a contract is to be signed between the Greek State and the National Bank of Greece and Athens, by which the bank will undertake to landscape the region and build two public beaches, one in Glyfada and one in Voula (…). The council then appointed the ministers for public works, Mr Constantine Karamanlis; finance, Mr C. Papayiannis, and trade, Mr P. Papaligouras, as the government’s representatives to examine the question of the Saronic coastline in general and to enter into negotiations with interested enterprises. FOREIGN BOND-HOLDERS: Paris, 20 – A Greek delegation led by Mr Emmanouil Tsouderos had two meetings with representatives of foreign bond-holders at the Greek Embassy here today. (…) Mr Tsouderos set out the proposals of the Greek government regarding the manner in which the Greek debt will be settled. (…) Another meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow.
