CYPRIOT STRUGGLE: Nicosia, 10 – In the center of Nicosia last night, two unidentified men fired three shots at 20-year-old post office employee M.Z. whose three brothers are policemen. One is serving in the civil guard founded by the British after the attacks (by Cypriot EOKA patriots) last April and had repeatedly received death threats as he was a police informer. It is believed that the attack was carried out by EOKA (the National Organization for the Cypriot Struggle). M.Z. was taken to the hospital where he died shortly afterward. GREEK CHILDREN: Thessaloniki, 10 – The Greek Red Cross has brought in 32 Greek children repatriated from Romania and handed over at midnight last night at the Yugoslavian border post. The Romanians had said that they would hand over 37 Greek children, but at the last minute they claimed that five of them did not want to return. ALEXIS A. ICE CREAM IN KOLONAKI: (From a report by Rosita Sokou): The actor Frederic March and his wife, along with Melina Mercouri, Dimitris Horn and Elli Lambeti were sitting quietly in Kolonaki Square last night eating ice cream.
