29 GUILTY PEOPLE ON TRIAL (From a commentary in Kathimerini): Although the trial of the Red spies has only just begun, testimony by witnesses for the prosecution given so far has allowed the public to form a general opinion of the extent of the communists’ activities. (…) The agents of the Communist Party of Greece and of the Cominform once again managed to infiltrate everywhere into the state services, private companies and anywhere else that serves their goal of espionage. (…) The trial will give sufficient evidence of the new systems of communist activity, but not enough to make known the Red conspiracy network in any detail.
