GEORGIOS I. RALLIS: – A book titled «The Two Roads (Democracy – Communism)» has been published in a popularized but well-documented study of this important subject that is so relevant today. The author is the former minister Georgios I. Rallis who is now focusing not only on research but also enlightening the Greek people about one of the main issues of our age. PAPANDREOU-KARAMANLIS: 15 – During yesterday’s parliamentary debate on the Cyprus issue, George Papandreou strongly criticized the government, describing the past six months’ negotiations on the Cyprus issue as a time of panic. He drew attention to what he said were a series of political and tactical mistakes on the government’s part. Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis then accused the opposition of making extravagant claims, despite the fact that when it was in government, the opposition party had not dared raise the Cyprus issue. HEROD ATTICUS: Work to restore the Herod Atticus Theater is to continue this year. The Education Ministry has announced that it has earmarked 600,000 drachmas for the purpose.
