CENTER-RIGHT FORMATION: A fresh attempt is being made to set up a third political force in Greece, according to a newspaper report yesterday attributed to a government source. Among the independent deputies said to be heading this effort is former government minister Georgios Rallis. According to sources close to the deputies, under the current political conditions that prevail in the country, it is only natural that independent deputies would want to exchange views and seek solutions to the political stalemate that has been leading toward a polarization. However, reports of the formation of a new political party should be considered premature. EDA: According to sources, the government has decided to ban foreign visitors and other prominent figures from attending the congress of the United Democratic Left party (EDA).
