ACS Athens Summer Youth Camp

The 6th Annual ACS Athens Summer Youth Camp will be running from June 20 to July 8 in three separate weekly periods.

The program offers a range of activities within an English-speaking environment in an effort to promote the use of English to children aged 4-14 years who either do not speak the language or do not have English as their mother tongue. This year?s camp features new programs that cater to specific age groups: The Early Childhood Program (4 and 5 years old), Kids Program (6-8), Juniors Program (9-11) and Teens Program (12-14).

The staff, which consists of experienced instructors assisted by volunteer high school and middle school students, will be on hand to provide assistance.

In the first two programs, the schedule of activities includes mini-tennis, swimming, a variety of activities for learning the English language (narrative, reading, writing, arithmetic and exploration of theatrical treatment), computer games, crafts and sports. For the other two, the children will choose from a variety of activities such as English, computers, soccer, swimming, basketball, tennis, crafts, modern dance, music, archery, racket sports and other activities.
