City of Athens offering a week of free PAP tests for all women
Doctors at the City of Athens’s clinics will be offering free cervical smear tests to women from Monday, December 1, to Friday, December 5.
Women interested in getting themselves checked for any cervical problems can book at appointment with one of the clinics’ gynecologists by telephone. They do not need to have health insurance or be registered with Greek authorities.
The 10-minute tests, used to detect signs of cervical cancer and other problems, will be carried out from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all days at the municipal clinics on 78 Solonos (tel 210.362.6587), 3 Protagoras in Pangrati (tel 210.701.1266) and 12 Propontidos & Aghias Sophias in Kolonos (tel 210.512.1921).
