Doctors of the World charity holds Christmas donation drive
Doctors of the World (Medecins du Monde) is holding donation drives in Athens, Thessaloniki and Hania in Crete, calling on citizens to help build a tree of evaporated milk cans.
The main event of the medical charity’s Christmas campaign is taking place on December 18 in front of Athens University on Panepistimiou Street and will include performances by guest musicians and other events.
The non-governmental organization is also calling for donations of medicines, clothing and non-perishable foodstuffs to aid their work with refugees and the poor.
