Big teams to face each other in Cup
The draw for the quarterfinals and the semifinals of the Greek Cup was a dream one for the minnows and a nightmare for the big teams, as it has put all top-four clubs of the Super League table on the one half of the draw.
Consequently Panathinaikos will face AEK and Olympiakos will play PAOK in the home-and-away quarterfinals, and the winners of the two ties will face each other for a spot in the final.
In the other half of the draw, Atromitos will face the winner of the all-second-division tie between Diagoras and Ethnikos Asteras, while the winner of the Kerkyra vs Iraklis tie will meet Olympiakos Volou. One of all those sides will be the other finalist.
The Diagoras vs Ethnikos Asteras and Kerkyra vs Iraklis replays are scheduled for January 12.
The quarterfinals will be played on January 19 and February 2, while the finals is scheduled for April 30 at the Olympic Stadium of Athens.
