Peristeri forward Michalis Pelekanos slams two of the 16 points he scored yesterday against Olympiakos in the third game of the third-place playoff series. Peristeri defeated Olympiakos away, 83-73, to get a 2-1 lead and the chance to finish the series at home. Olympiakos officials were mad at the referees who threw out coach Slobodan Subotic and awarded Peristeri 41 free throws vs 17 for Olympiakos.
