Cup draw brings Olympiakos to Hania, PAO travels to PAS Giannina
There was little excitement coming out of the draw for the Round of 16 of the Greek Cup on Friday, with the error of the federation’s cup committee in the draw process, pitting two seeded teams against each other, being what stole the show on the day.
Holder Olympiakos will come up against second-division Hania, with the first game in Crete, while Panathinaikos will face PAS Giannina, starting at Ioannina.
AEK has been drawn against Levadiakos, the first leg being at Livadia, and PAOK will travel to Lesvos for its first match against Kalloni.
The other two-leg ties are Ergotelis vs Panionios, Veria vs Iraklis, Larissa vs Asteras Tripolis and Platanias vs Atromitos.
Ties will be played on January 5-7 and 12-14.
