Theodore Theodoridis named UEFA general secretary

Theodore Theodoridis has been named UEFA general secretary, replacing Gianni Infantino within European soccer’s governing body.

Infantino was voted the new FIFA president in Zurich last week after Michel Platini's eight-year ban from soccer was upheld following an appeal, but reduced to six years.
