Korakaki shoots to the top of the world

There is no stopping Anna Korakaki this year. The Olympic gold and bronze medallist in shooting with two more medals and a world record at the International Shooting Sport Federation’s World Cup Final in Italy over the weekend.

The Greek champion won gold at the 25-meter pistol in Bologna on Friday, winning the final shoot-out.

Then on Saturday she earned silver in the 10-meter category, after breaking the world record in qualifying.

"It has been a crazy season for me. Winning two medals in Rio de Janeiro really changed my life,” said Korakaki, who has made Greeks turn to shooting with great interest.
