Gekas’s goal makes him the top scorer

Greece striker Fanis Gekas kept up his incredible scoring in the Bundesliga on the weekend to become the German league’s top scorer after his opening goal in Bochum’s 2-0 win over Hannover. Gekas has scored seven times in the last six games for a total of 14 goals this season. Also last weekend, defender Sotiris Kyrgiakos of Eintracht Frankfurt scored his fifth goal for the season.
