Bronze medal at gymnastics Worlds

Greece’s Lefteris Kosmidis won a bronze medal in the men’s floor exercise event at the World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. The Greek gymnast, who accumulated 15,500 points for his routine, was ranked third behind Brazilian Diego Hypolito, who won the gold medal with 15,775 points and Romania’s Razvan Selariu, who won the silver medal with 15,575 points. Meanwhile, some 1.85 million tickets for next year’s Beijing Olympics will be up for grabs on a first-come, first-serve basis when the second round of domestic sales start today. In all, some 7 million tickets for the August 8-24 Games will be available to the public with some 2 million kept back for Olympic officials, sponsors, competitors and dignitaries.
