Volleyball progress for Olympiakos
Olympiakos advanced to the quarterfinals of volleyball’s CEV Cup last night, dismissing Austria’s Tirol Innsbruck over two legs. Later last night, Lamia was to play at Ortek Nesselande in the Netherlands for the same competition. In the Champions League group stage tonight, Iraklis travels to Turkey to play Fenerbahce, while Panathinaikos hosts Germany’s Friedrichshafen. Iraklis is top of its group with three wins in as many matches, while Panathinaikos has only one win. Finally, tomorrow, EA Patras plays France’s Cannes for the Challenge Cup.
