Fifth round of soccer cup kicks off today
The fifth round of the Greek soccer cup kicks off today with the clash between second-division Veria and top-flight Panionios in the Macedonian city. Tomorrow afternoon Panthrakikos hosts Panathinaikos for the second time in five days, following their league match, while PAOK clashes with Aris in the evening, in the classic Thessaloniki derby. Finally on Thursday, Ergotelis entertains Xanthi on Crete. The round’s four other ties will be played the following week.
