Big day for Greek volleyball in European competitions

Greek volleyball returns to European action with Panathinaikos and Iraklis playing crucial games in the Champions League tonight. Panathinaikos visits Skra Belchatow in Poland while Iraklis hosts Polish Czestochowa in Thessaloniki. For the quarterfinals (first leg) of the CEV Cup Olympiakos greets Poitiers of France as Lamia plays host to Russian powerhouse Lokomotiv Belgorod. EA Patras is involved in the Challenge Cup and faces Hungary’s Kaposvar in the first leg of the round of 16 at home. All games start at 7 p.m., except for those of Iraklis (7.30 p.m.) and Olympiakos (8 p.m.).
