After the acquisition of veteran striker Nikos Liberopoulos, the AEK soccer club has added yet another of its former players to its roster with the signing of central defender Traianos Dellas, one of the Greece players who six years ago yesterday won the Euro 2004 cup. Dellas returned to Greece from Anorthosis in Cyprus, where he had been playing the last couple of years and also featured in the Champions League with the Famagusta club. AEK has also brought to Greece 28-year-old Uruguayan left-back Claudio Dadomo. The former Cerro Porteno player also plays as a winger. «We watch European soccer in Uruguay and I am happy to have arrived in Greece. I am looking forward to joining AEK,» he stated upon his arrival. He is set to sign his contract with the Athens club today.
