Costly negligence

The Greek police force is carrying out its duties properly and is dealing with the issue of domestic terrorism well.

Nevertheless, it is hard to believe that terrorists who are arrested are subsequently set free and enabled to go back to their illegal activities and practices.

This kind of negligence displayed by certain members of the Greek judiciary, in combination with the existing legislative framework, ends up canceling out the serious efforts made by members of the Greek police force and paves the way for fresh murderous hits, which tarnish the country’s reputation on an international level.

The political system, in its entirety, must come together, react swiftly and put an end to the kind of passive stance it had adopted so far on this very crucial matter.

In the event that it fails to do so, there is little doubt that the price that the country will have to pay will be very dear indeed.
