Greeks’ bureaucratic paper chases just got a bit easier
Greeks will no longer have to submit original or certified copies of official documents to the country’s public administration, according to a circular issued by Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakos, which means that regular photocopies of the papers will suffice.
The new rules relate to documents issued by public bodies.
For private documents such as contracts, a lawyer’s seal, confirming the authenticity, will be required.
In both cases, the copies will have to be easily readable.
