Georgian man commits suicide in central Athens park
A 53-year-old unnamed Georgian national was found hanged in the Pangrati Woods, near the center of Athens, on Friday morning in what police are investigating as a suicide.
The man was found hanging from a tree with a rope around his neck by an elderly resident of the neighborhood taking his morning constitutional in the popular park.
Police were unable to confirm whether the 53-year-old had left an explanation as to why he decided to take his own life.
