Some train, Proastiakos services to be cancelled on Monday

Workers on Greek trains and on the Proastiakos suburban railway will be holding work stoppages on Monday that are expected to affected several routes, as well as the Proastiakos line to Athens International Airport.

Between 1-3 p.m., there will be no trains between the metro terminus of Doukissis Plakentias station and the airport, meaning that commuters will have to use buses instead and should give themselves more time for the commute.

The stoppages will also affect the national railway with morning services between Athens and Thessaloniki being cancelled. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. trains will also not run between Athens-Kalambaka, Alexandroupoli-Dikaia, Thessaloniki-Florina, Larissa-Volos, Lianokladi-Stylida, Diakofto-Kalavryta and Pyrgos-Olympia.
