City of Athens approves plan to construct crematorium in Elaionas
After a marathon session Thursday, the City of Athens council approved a plan for the construction of Greece’s first ever crematorium on a plot of land (also known as bloc 17) belonging to the municipality in the western, post-industrial suburb of Elaionas.
Only Golden Dawn councilors voted against the decision, and there was one abstention.
