Greece’s state-run schools to get wheelchair ramps
Wheelchair ramps are set to be installed at state-run schools, according to a government decision.
The Education Ministry has issued a circular calling on the principals at all public primary, secondary and high schools to inform authorities by December 8 whether their buildings have ramps so disabled children can have easier access.
Schools that do not have ramps have been asked to provide details about what kind of ramp could be installed so work on providing this form of access can begin.
