3.8-magnitude tremor shakes central Greece

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake rattled the region of Boeotia in central Greece on Monday and was also felt in Athens.

According to a preliminary reading of the Institute of Geodynamics, the tremor struck 17 km southeast of the town of Thiva and at a depth of 5 km.

No damages or injuries were immediately reported.
