Police seize stolen jewelry worth over 300,000 euros in pawn shop raid
Police in the Cretan prefecture of Iraklio on Monday confiscated more than 300,000 euros’ worth of stolen jewelry from a pawn shop and arrested two male employees, aged 38 and 40, as well as issuing an arrest warrant for the 37-year-old owner of the establishment who had been absent at the time of the raid.
Officers confiscated more than half a kilogram of jewelry from the home of the 38-year-old suspect.
