Acropolis to shut down Saturday afternoon for EU event

The archaeological site of the Acropolis Hill in Athens and its slopes will be closed to the general public on Saturday afternoon to accommodate an EU event, the Culture Ministry said on Thursday.

The site will shut down at 5.30 p.m. until the end of the day. The event is being coordinated by the General Secretariat of Sports.
