Progressive rock act Archive set for a mini-tour around Greece at the end of the week

Popular progressive rockers Archive are about to visit Greece once more. The band, founded by Danny Griffiths and Darius Keeler, is preparing for three local concerts: Starting with a performance in Patra, at the Akti Dimeon, on Thursday, the next stop will be at the Badminton Theater in Athens on Friday, to be followed by a show at Thessaloniki’s Principal Club Theater on Saturday. Variety of styles Blending different kinds of music styles such as trip hop, post rock, post punk and jazz, Archive’s catchy melodies have won over loyal audiences around the world as well as music critics and radio producers. Following the release of albums like their breakthrough «You All Look the Same to Me» (2002) and then «Noise» (2004) – which includes the big hit «F*** U» – Archive released their «Controlling Crowds» earlier this year. Tickets for the Badminton Theater concert can be purchased at Virgin Megastores, at the Public multimedia store in Syntagma and www.ticketnet.gr. Tickets are available at 35, 40, 45 and 50 euros. Badminton Theater, Goudi Military Park, tel 211.101.0020, www.badmintontheater.gr. The show will start at 9 p.m.
