West Side Story | Athens | July 16-18

Led by conductor George Petrou, the Camerata Orchestra and a troupe of singers and actors will stage a new production of “West Side Story” at the Athens Concert Hall on Saturday, July 16, Sunday, July 17, and Monday, July 18. The popular musical showcases music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Admission ranges from 5 to 35 euros. Tickets are on sale online at www.viva.gr or by calling 11876. The performances are part of this year’s Greek Festival. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online at www.viva.gr as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St, inside the arcade (open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. daily).
