Greek Art Auction | Athens | October 15
Works by leading Greek artists are going under the hammer at Galerie Lefakis in Glyfada, southern Athens, on Saturday, October 15. The event includes the sale of 137 works from the 20th and the 21st centuries. Among the works are paintings by Yiannis Gaitis, Thanos Tsingos, Opy Zouni, Kostas Paniaras, Alekos Fassianos, Costas Tsoclis, Dimitris Mytaras, Pavlos Samios, Takis and Achilleas Droungas, among others. Works will be on view on Thursday, October 13 from 10.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.; Friday, October 14, from 10.30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. The auction starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
