Permanent price cuts for more products

The measure of the so-called permanent price reduction – i.e. the commitment to reduce prices by at least 5% and for a period of no less than six months – will eventually apply to all products sold at supermarkets, whether they be milk, bread, detergents, sheets or plastic food containers.

This is provided by the ministerial decision signed by Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas for the implementation of the new measures to tackle inflation.

In fact, according to competent government sources, it is possible that the first distinctive signs for the price cuts will appear soon in supermarkets, as large suppliers have agreed to permanent reductions.
