HELEX profits down 41 percent in a year

Hellenic Exchanges, the operator of the Athens Stock Exchange, announced on Monday that its first-half net profit amounted to 3.2 million euros, against 5.4 million euros in the same period last year, dropping 41 percent on an annual basis.

The company’s turnover reached 14.9 million euros, against 18.5 million euros a year earlier. Its earnings before interest and tax dropped to 4.8 million euros, from 8.1 million euros a year ago.
