Many Greek hotels already fully booked for August

A large number of hotel units at Greek destinations that are particularly popular with foreign visitors have stopped taking bookings for peak summer season earlier than ever before, having already reached their full capacity for August bookings.

Combined with the problems Turkish tourism has been facing, the offers hoteliers have made to foreign markets in recent months have sent bookings soaring at many Greek hotels.

Aware of the high occupancy rates at hotels in Spain, Cyprus and elsewhere last year, foreign tour operators seeking safe destinations in the Mediterranean augmented bookings in Greece very early this year.
