Body found dead on Crete hiking trail

A man, believed to be a foreign tourist, was found dead after a hike near Sougia in southern Crete, according to reports.
Police said the body was reported on Monday morning by hikers in the area.
Police and fire units responded and located the body on a trail between Sougia and Agia Roumeli.
The body has been sent to Sfakia for an autopsy report to determine the cause of the man’s death.
