Fire service tackling blazes in wooded areas

The Hellenic Fire Service (HFS) is tackling two fires in wooded areas on Thursday, one near Corinth in the Peloponnese and one near Vonitsa in western Greece.
There are 27 firefighters, 7 vehicles, and 2 aircraft operating in Corinth, and 18 firefighters and 6 vehicles in Vonitsa, according to statements released on social media by the HFS.
