Foreign Ministry reacts to desecration of chapel in Jerusalem
The Greek Foreign Ministry has expressed “deep concern” over the trespassing by members of a Jewish seminary into the Greek Garden on Mt Zion in Jerusalem, property of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the ministry called upon Israeli authorities to investigate Monday’s incident which resulted in the desecration of the chapel on the site.
