Turkish UAV intrudes into Greek air space

A Turkish Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) entered Athens’ FIR without submitting a flight plan and violated Greek airspace in the eastern Aegean on Wednesday, authorities said.

The military drone flew over the islet of Agathonisi thirty minutes after midnight, at a height of 19,000 feet.

The UAV was engaged according to international rules and returned to Turkey.
