Foreign Ministry releases statement on Indonesia soccer tragedy
“Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in a soccer match in Indonesia,” read a statement released by the Greek Foreign Ministry posted on social media on Sunday.
“Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishes for a swift recovery to the injured. Our thoughts are with the government and people of our friend Indonesia,” concluded the statement.
Over 174 people died following a soccer match in East Java, Indonesia.
