Woman dies in fire inside her house
A woman died in a fire that broke out inside her home shortly after midnight on Saturday in the municipality of Ierapetra, southeastern Crete.
The fire started in the bedroom, where the 62-year-old was sleeping. The neighbors had taken her out of the house unconscious before a doctor arrived in an ambulance to confirm her death.
The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
