Conman nabbed in Kozani

A 50-year-old man was arrested in Kozani, northern Greece, for committing fraud against two businessmen and extracting more than 528,761 euros from them.
According to the complaint, the arrested man used his position as an employee of an electricity company to collect the money in installments from the entrepreneurs (father and son) under the guise of paying fees and issuing necessary permits for their business ventures.
In the complaint filed by the 65-year-old father and his 33-year-old son the suspect with an unknown accomplice received payments from March 30, 2022 to September 30, 2023
