PM discusses investment opportunities in Greece during Doha visit
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis discuss bilateral relations, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the problems caused by the disruption of safe navigation in the Red Sea with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, during a visit to Doha on Saturday.
The two sides reportedly reaffirmed their mutual will to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the economy and in areas such as tourism and culture.
Mitsotakis told al Thani about the positive prospects of the Greek economy after the recovery of investment grade, adding that Greece presents great investment opportunities, especially in energy, tourism, and the agri-food sector. It was agreed that there would soon be a business mission to Athens to explore cooperation possibilities.
The prime minister extended an invitation to the Emir of Qatar to visit Athens, which al Thani accepted.
