US schoolchildren in hospital with gastroenteritis
Five American schoolchildren were being treated for acute symptoms of gastroenteritis at Patra?s university hospital on Thursday while another 23 children from the same group were discharged from the hospital after receiving first aid treatment.
The children had traveled to Greece from Pennsylvania to visit Ancient Olympia and had been due to continue their vacation in Italy.
Doctors have sent the sick children?s blood samples to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) for a diagnosis.
