Five arrested in northwestern Greece while hunting for ancient coins
Five Greek men aged between 24 and 69 were taken into custody in Igoumenitsa, northwestern Greece, on Thursday night on suspicion of violating antiquity laws.
The men were arrested in the area of Ambelonas after being found in possession of equipment used for detecting metals.
Police said that during questioning the men said they were looking for ancient coins and gold sovereigns.
